Sleepless in Seattle

Last weekend my sweet friend Jordan and I ventured off to Seattle! Expecting nothing less, we packed our favorite Hunter's and rain jackets and braved the rainy weather. We spent the majority of our day at Pike Place Market where we ate, shopped, and indulged in the crazy atmosphere. The fresh fruit samples were delicious, I highly recommend sampling all you can. If you are looking for a little mid market pick me up, the hot cranberry apple cider combined with a bag of The Daily Dozen Doughnut Company's sweet treats is sure to get you through.

In addition to the market we saw the infamous gum wall where visitors leave their mark with their own personal wad. Near the market and gum wall is the original Starbucks where the tourists and barista's are high on caffeine...what else would you expect? The rest of our visit took us to Seattle's Great Wheel, a few shopping areas, and a few delicious restaurants. With about 36 hours in the city, we both were relating to Tom Hanks in Sleepless in Seattle.

Sorry for the belated post!
