Day Tripper

Hello Friends! Apologies for the short break but November turned out to be a busy month between school and work but we are back with a fun day trip. Liv and I decide to fly down to Austin on Saturday to explore this creative city.

First stop was the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center where we were able to watch Liv's friend compete in the UT Swimming Invitational. Needless to say he killed it and we cheered him on from start to finish. Next we hit up Austin's infamous Jo's coffee with the iconic "I love you so much sign." Definitely get to this spot early as it's a local favorite. In addition to Jo's we ate at Home Slice and indulged in Amy's Ice Cream. YUMMM!

One of our favorite stops had to be the Graffiti Park at Castle Hills. Liv and I purchased our own can of paint from the vendor on site and had a blast leaving our mark on the colorful walls. We left odes to Pitbull, said hello from Murphy & Grace, and drew a few designs of our own. Whether you are traveling with adults or kids this is such a fun outing!
