This year marks the 129th anniversary of the Texas State Fair.
Foot long corn dogs, maple bacon margaritas, and deep fried oreos...what more could you ask for? An annual trip, this year will never be forgotten as my friends and I decided to brave the UT/ OU weekend. While the lines were three times as long, we still had a blast taking in the game day atmosphere and the sea of orange and red around us. While my friends were a little skeptic of the food, I was determined to show them the ultimate fair experience. We wandered throughout the food court where we saw chocolate covered bacon, fried alligator on a stick, deep fried red velvet cupcakes, and deep fried butter.
